Season of the Witch

With Halloween looming around the corner it was time that I started to figure out a Halloween costume. I really like this season... I always think it's a hoot to see people get their pixels dressed up and go to endless Halloween themed parties. 

I was really excited to see that Tres Chic offered so many different things that I could use for a Halloween outfit. I decided to go for a classic witch look with the new Kasandra dress from Lakshmi, the Libby Platforms from NX, and the poses from Fashiowl. I also used this cute little witch shack from the event as well. There are tons more goodies to check out at Tres Chic.

Making a Call

A new round of Tres Chic is in full swing!! The theme this round is Season of the Witch and there are tons of goodies to get your hands on. I hope to be able to show you some of the great finds at the event over the course of this week. Head down there and check it out! It's open now!

The hair I'm wearing is from Phoenix. I really like how it has an wind blown feel about it that isn't over the top. I decided to wear the new dress and purse from 1992 and I just love this outfit. To top if off I wore the ChicChica shoes called Blair which I think are fantastic.

Socks & Shoes for Fall

I usually do head to toe outfits or a deco set up. I thought I'd mix things up a bit and try going for a focus on what's on my feet. I have always been a huge fan of Darling Monday's Fri.day. Most recently she released the Lydia socks for October's C88. These socks come with an applier HUD that works for Slink Physique, Maitreya Lara and Omega.I like that you also get an option of what top you'd like on your socks. This time I went for tied top, but I'll be putting these socks on again very soon.

Opening on the 20th of this month will be the new round of Shiny Shabby. It runs from the 20th to the 15th of November. At this month's event Essenz's will be releasing this Bratislave shoe. It's available in 12 single colours or fatpacks. It does require Slink or Maitreya high feet. I'm really liking these boots and the options that they come up. They're a perfect shoe for the growing fall wardrobe.

Pumpkin Patch

Today I got the chance to wear the new Alex head by LOGO. This is the first time I've worn a LOGO head before and I was quite pleased with it. I had a little hiccup with the skin appliers, and with the help of some people was able to figure out that you need to purchase the OMEGA hud in order to wear third party skins with the head. I then went to visit a few different places that make skins for the head and fell in love with the Alex applier from Izzie's. This skin came in two versions, one with freckles and one without. I went with the freckles as I thought it gave the head a fresh and young look.

The LOGO head comes with a wide range of emotions available. I loved playing around with it. The head even comes with vampire teeth. I've shown some of the emotions in the picture below but there are 12 in total.

The top is a brand new gift from Tres Blah available at the main store with two other goodies.

The hair is the newest released from Catwa and I love the fringe and the way it frames the face. This hair comes in a wide range of colours and is super cute. Make sure you head over to the store for a demo.

On the Bridge to Pandora

I was so excited to get one of the newest releases from The Annex, called Boston Coat. It comes in a wide range of colours and can be paired with jeans, skirts, or tights. It's perfect for the fall wardrobe. It's currently at The Chapter Four so grab the LM below and head over there.

I really want to talk about the new Catwa head. I am so impressed with everything this head has to offer. For the first time... in FOREVER I can wear a head without adding different eyelashes. This might seem trivial, but having really nice lashes is important to me. I plan to do a little review of the lash options soon.

With the Catwa head I'm wearing the Cynthia skin from Deetalez. This isn't the first skin I've bought from there and I'm never disappointed. I really love this shade and it's actually a lighter than I normally wear. Deetalez currently has a bunch of skins released for the Jessica head. Be sure to try them all on to see what you prefer.

I tried them with the boots from Fri.day and the sYs's backless shirt that's out for The Mix event. I believe there is still time to grab the Samantha booties but you better be quick as C88 changes over soon! The purse I'm using is also an amazing grab for only $75L! Autumn Hues

Home decor pictures are quickly becoming my favourite type of pictures to take. When I am putting together a "scene" sometimes it can take a while or other times (like this one) it can go quite quickly, and then I have a moment where I'm not sure if I'm finished because it seemed too easy. I'm really pleased with all the elements in this photo. The Moonrise Cottage from Scarlet Creative is such an amazing background to work with. I've found a lot of enjoyment decorating this house. The items against the wall, the fairy tree from Atooly & old doors from Ionic started the whole scene. I knew I wanted to use the fairy tree, so I built everything else around it. I was so pleased that I could use more from Kalopsia’s Maple Bed set featured at Sept. Tres Chic. The stand and the chair are both from Cheeky Pea and can be easily tided into another project as they’re super easy and fun to work with. The pieces on the ground are mostly arcade grabs and elements from other sets. I love seeing different pieces come together in a complimentary way.
